Rather than a traditional seated class, Sweet Impressions invites participants to move through hands-on stations around our communal table, creating beautifully stamped fall cookies before heading into our Studio container for a cozy finale.

Explore the colors, shapes, textures, and flavors of the fall garden through a playful combination of gardening, creativity, and hands-on art.
The experience begins with a short, age-appropriate garden lesson focused on seasonal vegetables and how they grow. Participants then use fresh-cut vegetables as natural stamps, along with foam brushes and fabric paint, to create their own garden-inspired textile artwork.
As the artwork dries, the pieces are displayed throughout the garden on a clothesline, creating a colorful Garden Gallery for everyone to enjoy.
Participants then gather for a casual lunch featuring kid-friendly favorites, fresh fruits and vegetables, apple cider, and a sweet treat before wrapping up with a group photo surrounded by their artwork.

A hands-on field trip on food, fire, and the history of the American Chuckwagon
Step into the role of a Vista Sol Chuckwagon Crew member and explore how fire, food, and cooking shaped the way people lived.
Participants will discover how humans first learned to use fire, practice basic fire safety and grilling skills, explore how growing food changed communities, and hear the story of the chuckwagon cooks—known as “Cookie”—who kept cattle-drive crews fed on the American trail.
Along the way, participants will help prepare colorful vegetable skewers, observe a ranch-style lunch cooking over the fire, and discover how heat transforms the color, texture, aroma, and flavor of food.
